Delete your Death Laps account

In the game

This is the quickest way, and deletion is immediate. It works for email accounts and for anonymous accounts.

1. Open Death Laps, connected to the internet.
2. In the main menu, tap Play Online and, if the game asks, sign in to your account.
3. On the Choose a server screen, tap Account, in the Your online account box.
4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

The message “Account deleted.” confirms it worked. With the game in Portuguese, the buttons are Jogar Online, Conta and Excluir conta.

No access to the game: by email

If you can no longer open the game, send an email to [email protected] from your account's email, with the subject “Delete account” and, if you remember it, your driver name. To protect your account, we only act on requests that come from its email or are confirmed through it. We complete the deletion within 15 days and let you know by email when it is done.

Anonymous accounts have no email, so they can only be deleted in the game, on the device where they were used. They hold no email or other data that identifies you directly; if you still want us to look for one, write with the driver name (“Piloto” and a number) and when you played.

What is deleted

• Access to the account: your email and the account identifier.
• Your online profile: your driver name (which becomes free for someone else to use), online money, Skulls and stats.
• Your online garage and inventory: cars, paints, upgrades, weapons, items and products bought in the browser.
• The history of money and Skull transactions and your rating in the season rankings.
• The copy of your offline game kept in the account.

What is kept, and for how long

• Results of races already run (place, car, eliminations and prize), no longer tied to the account, so that other people's standings do not change. They may still show the driver name used in the race.
• Race replays, which have no names: erased automatically within 14 days.
• Purchase records (product, date and transaction codes), no longer tied to the account, for as long as legal obligations require (usually 5 years) and to prevent fraud.
• Database backups: replaced within 90 days.
• Apple, Google, RevenueCat and Stripe keep the records of purchases made through them, under their own policies. If you would like us to also ask RevenueCat to delete your purchase history, say so in your email.

Before you delete

• Online money, Skulls, cars and items cannot be recovered or refunded after deletion.
• Purchases made in the browser are tied to the account and are lost with it. Permanent purchases made in the App Store or Google Play stay with your store account and can be recovered on the device with “Restore purchases”; Skull packs cannot.
• The offline game stays on your device. To erase it as well, uninstall the app or, in the browser, clear the game site's data.
• If you also signed up for the Closed Beta list on the website, ask for your email to be removed in the same request.
